Itálica is twenty minutes and the better short trip. Córdoba is a full day on the AVE, not a raid. Do not add the Alhambra to a Seville city break as a commute.

Book: Itálica — mosaics, amphitheatre, morning light, limited shade. Easy bus DIY if you want.
Book carefully: Córdoba. Mezquita + Jewish Quarter is a day. AVE ~45 minutes.
Skip: Granada. Sleep there if the Alhambra is the point.
Italica is not a substitute for the Alcázar. Do both on different days.
