How this site makes money
ExploreActivities is free to read and carries no display advertising. It is funded entirely by affiliate commissions. When you click a “Check availability” button and go on to book, the platform you book with pays us a percentage of the booking. That percentage comes out of the platform’s margin, not your wallet — the price you see is the same price you would see if you had gone to that site directly.

Why the commission does not change our rankings
This is the part that matters, so here is exactly how we handle it. Activities are ranked before we look at which platform sells them, using rating weighted against review volume, the cancellation policy, and how honestly the itinerary is described. Only then do we choose where to send the link — and where the same experience is sold on multiple platforms we link to the cheapest version with free cancellation, even when that is the platform that pays us less.
Commission rates across our partners sit in a narrow band, which removes most of the incentive to distort anything. Where we would not book something ourselves, we say so in the listing rather than quietly leaving it out.
What we do not do
- We do not accept payment from tour operators for inclusion or for a higher position.
- We do not publish sponsored posts disguised as editorial.
- We do not invent reviews, ratings or prices. Figures come from the listing platforms and are re-checked when a page is updated.
Prices and availability
Prices shown on this site are the lowest we saw when the page was last checked, in the currency shown. They move with season, demand and exchange rates, so treat them as a guide and always confirm the final price on the booking platform before you pay.
Your rights when you book
Your booking contract is with the platform and the operator, not with us. Refunds, cancellations, changes and complaints have to go through them. If an operator we recommended treated you badly, we still want to hear about it — it changes what we recommend next. Tell us here.
