What you see on this site

Each activity shows a rating out of five and a review count. Those figures come from the booking platform we link to — typically GetYourGuide, Viator, Klook or Tiqets — at the time we researched the listing. They can move after we last checked.

ExploreActivities does not host a guest-review form. You cannot post, edit or delete a review here. If you took a tour, leave the review on the platform where you booked.

How we use reviews when we rank

Editorial ranking is not “highest stars first.” We:

Read one- and two-star reviews for patterns (late pick-ups, bait-and-switch itineraries, hidden fees).
Weight rating by review volume so a 5.0 from twelve people does not beat a 4.6 from thousands.
Prefer options with free cancellation when the experience is otherwise similar.
Say who should skip the activity, even when the average looks excellent.

A high rating is not enough to stay on a shortlist. Repeated complaints of the same problem will drop or remove a listing.

What we do not do

We do not sell placement, stars or “featured review” slots.
We do not write fake reviews or ask operators to review themselves.
We do not suppress a partner because another programme pays a higher commission.
We do not claim the review text on this site is first-party customer feedback.

Partner platforms

When you click through to book, that site’s own review rules apply — including who may post, how they moderate, and how they handle disputes. We cannot change a review on Viator, GetYourGuide or any other partner.

Flag a problem

If a rating on our pages looks outdated, misleading, or attached to the wrong tour, email hello@exploreactivities.com with the page URL. We will re-check the source and update or remove the listing. For a booking that went badly, tell the platform you paid first — they can refund or replace the experience; we cannot.
