How to Book the Real Alcázar in Seville

Official timed entry, not a lanyard tour that joins the same security line. First slot or last in summer. The gardens are half the visit. It is not the cathedral ticket.

Last checked August 24, 2026

This ticket runs the Seville calendar. Once it is locked, add cathedral, tapas, flamenco.

Buy a real timed slot. Reseller skip-the-line that only skips the ticket window is the pattern we flag in the skip-the-line guide.

Patio de las Doncellas, then gardens. Summer: first entry or last. Spring orange blossom is strong — beautiful, and a lot if you are scent-sensitive.

More context: Seville when the Alcázar books out first.

People also ask about alcázar tickets

Is the Alcázar the same ticket as Seville Cathedral?

No. Separate sites, separate tickets, preferably separate mornings. The Giralda is ramps, which is kinder than you think, and still not the Alcázar gardens.

Do I need a guided Alcázar tour?

Optional. The Mudejar palaces make more sense with a guide. The gardens do not require one. In 40°C heat, a guide who lingers in courtyards is the better value.
